Lady Moscow is an ostentatious sextet born in the capital of Norway. Lady Moscow combines the bold rhytms and tonalities of Balkan music with energetic folk rock, with a crew consisting of vocals, guitar, accordion, mandolin, violin, contrabass and drums. With her unorthodox instrumentation and her invigorating live shows, she has given name to a musical genre of her own: folk'n'roll.

Although playing only on acoustic instruments, Lady Moscow is known for her wild and enchanting universe of sound and rhythm, and on stage she can make any electric band both look and sound like a sissy.
Throughout her concert history Lady Moscow has acquired the honorable title "Oslo's best live band."

Since the debut in june 2007, Lady Moscow has played almost 70 concerts, visiting several of the largest venues in Norway as well as festivals abroad, such as the Fusion festival in Germany and Suset festivalen in Denmark. Lady Moscow released her debut album “Barrel dance” in early autumn 2008.
